Recovery of high value silicon (FPQFP, BGA, µBGA, CBGA, Lead Free BGA)
As an indicator, 80% of the ($) value in a populated PCBA is contained within 20% of the silicon. Retronix has developed proven safe methods to recover this valuable asset and return it to you for re-use at a fraction of the cost of new components. Globally, companies are saving millions of dollars by using Retronix as a partner in component salvage & repair, leading to cost reductions for final product assembly. Tony Boswell is the founder of Retronix. After graduating from college he worked in Electronic Component sales in London for 2 years, before returning to his native Scotland to work for a PCBA service supplier to both OEM & CEM customers. Tony founded Retronix in 1992, and since then has seen it grow to the multi national company it is now, represented in the Americas, Europe & Asia, in both the PCBA & semiconductor arenas Tony lives in Glasgow, is married with two daughters, and enjoys football & golf (as you would, living in Scotland!)

With over 20 years experience in the Electronics Manufacturing industry since the mid 80’s. Joe has worked for both OEM (Philips) and CEM (SSCI) organizations in key roles. Since joining the Retronix team in 1997 Joe has been involved in all aspects of the Retronix organization. Joe lives in the hometown of the Retronix Headquarters, and is married with 3 children.

Gary Moffat has been working in the electronics industry since the mid nineties, Gary has gained a broad range of experience in all aspects of the industry, from the fast moving rapidly changing production environment, where he has worked for industry leaders such as HP (formally Compaq) Jabil and Solectron, to the highly demanding and reactive sub-contract service and labour supply market, supplying debug technicians and repairers to the electronics market as well as level 2 and level 3 engineers to the Semiconductor industry. Gary lives in Glasgow, is married and has two children.
